STARLIGHT

I had the amazing opportunity to have my work displayed in the Boch Center, Wang Theatre for the Cher Shows visit on tour. This look was inspired by Bob Mackies' work for Cher, In my project I was inspired by Cher’s music and Bob Mackie’s award show and event looks for Cher. Personally I loved how bold she is with her body, showing that she is the human form, natural and beautifully human. Because of this, I fell in love with Bob Mackie’s work as well, his garments beautifully adorned. Bodies should not be shamed, and can be adorned beautifully. I was inspired by songs like Dark lady, Dov’é l’amore, All or Nothing, the Power and Love so High. I love the glamor of Cher’s music and takes on all kinds of experiences in love. Each rhinestone was individually placed and plotted by the designer.
